Product details
(OBS this is NOT including yarn)
With its high neckline, Magda is the perfect autumn sweater. Warm, voluminous, and striking with its Aran-inspired cable patterns and rich texture, it quickly became a favorite. When we first released the sweater, we hadn’t yet started offering patterns, but the response was overwhelming. Customers kept asking for one, and their enthusiasm ultimately inspired us to create it.
SIZE
XS/S (M/L)
½ CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE
60 (65) cm
LENGTH
59 (62) cm
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
Circular needles No. 3.5 and 5, 80 cm
Alternatively, double-pointed needles No. 3.5
Cable needle
YARN
Håndværksgarn 700 (800) g (200 m = 100 g) from Hjelholt Spinning Mill
CONSTRUCTION
The model is slightly oversized and should be about 20–25 cm larger than the chest measurement. The sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up with the pattern according to the chart. The body is divided at the armholes, and from here the front and back are finished separately.
Shoulders are shaped with short rows and finally joined together using a 3-needle bind-off. Stitches are picked up along each armhole for the sleeves, which are worked from shoulder to wrist. The sleeves are worked in the round using the Magic Loop technique or alternatively with double-pointed needles.
Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline to knit the neck ribbing. The right and left sides refer to the right and left sides of the sweater.
You will receive your knitting pattern immediately by e-mail.
If the file is opened, your purchase cannot be returned.
